I started aikido in 1990 as a junior, training under Sue Baird Sensei, progressed to senior 3rd kyu in 1995. In 1998 I moved to Oxford and trained briefly under Peter Megan Sensei (of BAF). In November 2000 I returned to Manchester and was graded 1st Dan. I studied Judo for 3 years as a child and briefly trained in shotokan karate. In 2001 I started training in Ninjutsu. I currently hold the BAB Level 1 coach award.
